Will Wilson or Wil, as he is known, grew up in Springhill, moved away during part of his adult life, but returned here upon retirement.  He worked for the International Association of Lions Clubs  for forty-six years.  During that time he served ten years as Executive Administrator for that organization.  Plain Dealing dedicated the Wilburn  Wilson Park in his honor.
