The late Robert Charles Smith grew up in, lived and worked in , Springhill all his life.  He gave his entire life doing the things that were in the best interest of the community & his work with the American Legion.   He served as National Commander of the  American Legion in 1977-1978.  He is greatly missed by all who knew him.
