Springhill Shrine Club
Web Site: http://shrinershq.org
The
Springhill Shrine Club is a branch of the El Karubah Temple in
Shreveport, Louisiana. The Shreveport
hospital was the first Shriners Hospital in the world to be dedicated
to providing expert specialized orthopedic care to children under 18 years
of age absolutely
free of charge. They operate the Shriners
Hospital for Crippled Children. The Shreveport Hospital has helped a
very large number of children to walk. Without their help, many of those
would never have been able to walk. The Springhill Club was formed in
1964, with Mr. Ed. Shultz as president. They work closely with
the Shreveport Club. Each year the Springhill Shriners Club donates $2500
or more to the Shriners Hospital in Shreveport.
