A work for Senior Citizens in Springhill was begun by the Webster Council on Aging in 1970. The organized group called themselves the "55 Plus Club". They began meeting once a month. As interest grew the meetings increased to once a week.
The Webster Council on Aging provides a variety of services to benefit the elderly through the Springhill Senior Center. These service include Information and Assistance, Outreach, Assessment and Screening, Legal Assistance, Congregate Meals, Home-delivered Meals, Homemaker Services, Recreation, Ombudsman to the Nursing Home, Wellness, Elderly Waiver, and Medicaid Enrolment Center.

It also maintains a center at Railroad Avenue, Cotton Valley, Louisiana.
The Cotton Valley Center's hours are 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday through
