Love Thy Neighbor Ministries
Love Thy Neighbor Ministries is a benevolent organization
home based in Springhill. Love Thy Neighbor is a licensed as a non-profit
organization by the IRS. It is governed by a seven member Board of
Directors.
Love Thy Neighbor provides moral, spiritual, financial, and
practical help to many of the underprivileged and less fortunate people
living in the Ark-La-Tex area. We help by providing food, transportation,
clothing, financial assistance for rent, utilities, and medicine.
Love Thy Neighbor is connected to Northwest LA Food Bank in
Shreveport where food can be purchased at 16 cents per pound.
We take applications and screen each request based on income
and need.
Love Thy Neighbor Ministries operates a resale shop and uses
the income from these sales to pay the overhead of the business as well as
help and assistance that is rendered. Donations from individuals and
organizations are also used to render assistance. All donations are used in
the local area.
Our goal is to have enough donations to pay monthly operating
expenses. The income from the resale store would then be used to render
assistance to the needy. All donations are tax deductible.
Love Thy Neighbor encourages others to get involved in a
cause that is bigger than yourself, and at the same time be a part of
helping to relieve the suffering of others.
