American Legion
Banks-Strong Unit 166 of The American Legion Auxiliary is
a women's service organization which supports the work of the American
Legion Post 166 in Springhill. The Auxiliary is a million member women's
service organization founded in 1919. Our organization administrates 25
volunteer programs on the national and local levels which focus on three
major areas: Veterans, Children and Youth and Community.
Membership is open to the mother, wife, sister, daughter, granddaughter,
great-granddaughter or grandmother of living or deceased veterans who
served in World War I or II, the Korean conflict, the Vietnam War, the
Grenada, Panama and/or Lebanon conflicts, or the Persian Gulf War, also,
female veterans are eligible as are step relatives.
